About

Who we are, what we believe, and where we're headed.

Mission Church was planted right on the Frisco/Little Elm border back in 2008.

Our Mission

WE EXIST TO HELP PEOPLE FIND AND FOLLOW JESUS.

Life is messy. People are broken. No matter who you are or where you are, one thing is true: we are all looking for hope.

Find hope

We believe Jesus is our hope. You matter to Him. He loves and accepts you as you are, but the good news is He loves you too much to leave you in brokenness. He is the only one who can change us.

Follow Jesus

Jesus is available to everyone. We want you to know Him more and discover His purpose for your life. All you have to do is trust and follow Him. We are here to join with you in taking that next step.

Love your neighbor

We point others to Jesus. Because we know hope, we invite as many people as possible to experience the same transforming love and freedom only Jesus can bring.

Vision

WE WANT TO SEE A MOVEMENT OF JESUS MULTIPLIED THROUGH MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES AT HOME AND TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.

At Mission we gather with purpose, grow with intention, and go on mission. We want to share the good news of Jesus wherever we are. When we scatter throughout the week in our neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, favorite coffee shops, and kids' sports leagues we have the opportunity to share Jesus and be the church to our community.

Values

WE WANT TO POINT PEOPLE TO JESUS IN EVERYTHING WE DO. OUR VALUES INFLUENCE OUR DIRECTION AND HELP GUIDE OUR PRIORITIES AT MISSION.

Healthy Culture

We are a humble, hungry, and healthy community (like a family). We will be known by our love, honor, and service for others so that God would be glorified. We are proactive, take initiative, give our best, extend grace, and embrace flexibility as we carry the light of Jesus everywhere we go.

Spirit Led

We depend on God and ask Him to move in our lives, our families, and our community so that we can experience a full life in Him. We rely on the presence of the Holy Spirit to lead us to obedience, fill us with righteousness, and empower us with bold love so that we can point others to Jesus.

Intentional Discipleship

Growing in relationship with Jesus requires intention and action. We create environments to help people take next steps and grow as disciples (followers of Jesus) through studying the Bible, prayer, and gathering in community.

Generosity

Generosity is a privilege and a way of life that Jesus has called us to live. God loved first, so we love. God gave first, so we give. He has given richly towards us and it's our honor and joy to give back to Him. We give from a place of obedience, gratitude, and surrender - not obligation.

Service

We look for ways to contribute rather than consume. We give our time, talent, and treasure so we may make a difference for the kingdom of God. Serving is the Jesus way.

Relational Evangelism

Jesus called us to love our neighbors and those we are in community with outside the four walls of the church. We believe the most effective and sincere way to share the Gospel is by building authentic relationships. Our neighbors will find and follow Jesus when we demonstrate His love by showing we genuinely care about them. Our love will lead the way.

Looking Forward

Mission Church has been a part of the formation of three local churches across North Dallas. Our desire has never been to be big, but rather spread wide through church multiplication. We are committed to raising up leaders to plant churches that serve their communities and share the hope of Jesus, both at home and to the ends of the earth.

We believe God's best is yet to come!
